Pre-lab meets each Wednesday, 1-2 p.m., in WDL 116 or STC 302, as announced. Attendance at the pre-lab is mandatory unless specifically excused; it is the student's responsibility to arrange his or her schedule to make attendance possible. Exceptions will be granted for true emergencies or legitimate and pre-approved course conflicts, but not for doctor's or dentist's appointments, visits to home, parties, field trips, and other similar events. The pre-lab, depending on the week, will be used for introduction of the exercise, preparation time, lab work time, and discussion of procedural difficulties. The laboratory practical examination and the lab team peer assessment grades are each worth the same as one laboratory exercise (25 pts.); the practical will cover skills that should have been gained over the course of the semester. All lab results and/or reports are due by 5 p.m. on the due date.
